EXAMPLE: Your father and mother are family members. Your sister or brother is a family member.

EXAMPLE: I have 3 siblings – 2 sisters and 1 brother.

Idiom - “to take after someone”

“To take after someone” means to be similar to an older family member.
EXAMPLE: “Do you take after someone is your family? Yes, I take after my father. We’re both teachers, and we both love to play soccer.”
